Diversity, Inclusion & Aloha

The Blisstitute of Living Aloha is guided by Charlie Snow, who identifies as Queer and Māhū (non-binary).

Charlie brings a deep understanding of how important it is to create spaces that are inclusive, affirming, and as safe as possible for all LGBTIQASB+ folk.

While we cannot guarantee complete safety, we are fully committed to doing our best to nurture care, respect, and inclusion in all trainings, workshops, and sessions. We strive to support everyone in feeling welcomed, respected, and celebrated for exactly who they are.

All students who train with The Blisstitute learn how to:

Create respectful and affirming spaces,
Use inclusive language with confidence, and
Approach all interactions with cultural humility and awareness.

Certification requires demonstrating both understanding and application of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in practice.

Aloha as Unconditional Love

Our hālau (school) is a place of unconditional love and acceptance, where all bodies, identities, and hearts are honoured. Our practitioners create a microcosm of care, allowing deep physical, mental, and emotional healing. Many receivers experience profound shifts in self-acceptance, emotional release, and overall wellbeing.

Lomilomi and Transformation

Through Lomilomi, practitioners learn that as they give, they also receive. Honouring each person you work with fosters self-love, alignment, and inner harmony. For many, Lomilomi becomes a life-changing path, bringing deeper balance to every aspect of life and positively impacting the wider world, one session at a time.

Our Community of Aloha

When you study with The Blisstitute you are welcomed into our Lomiomi ʻOhana (family). Our community of Aloha Warriors spans Australia and beyond, united by love, respect, and the spirit of healing service.

Accessibility and Scholarships

To support inclusion, we offer:

A 50% scholarship place for one trans/gender diverse participant per training,
Payment plans for LGBTIQASB+ participants where needed.
